Today I’m back with the design team to share some holiday inspiration on this, day two, of Waltzingmouse Stamps Christmas festivities. I hope you’re enjoying what you’ve seen so far and it inspires you to start working on some Christmas projects (if you haven’t started already!).
We’re focusing on cards today, which is a good thing considering I have very few Christmas cards made this year. I must apologize, as the card I’m sharing today is using the same set I highlighted yesterday, Alpine Christmas. I had hoped to share some projects using one of the other two new sets but, alas, I have caught a nasty head cold and I’m resorting to sharing a card I created when I first received Alpine Christmas. My mojo has suffered these past several days but tomorrow I’ll have something new, I promise!
I told you I love this snowman scene! And I absolutely love white ink on kraft cardstock, so that is what I've done here. I stamped the scene along the bottom and used white colored pencil to color in the snow. I used a bit of white gel pen to make the snowman stand out a bit more and add snow on the trees. I made some glitter dots on the snow bank, just for fun. The sentiment and snowflakes were embossed in white ink to make them really pop.
Thanks for visiting me today! Stop by the rest of the design team blogs today, too:
