WMS September Release Sneak Peek: Splat That, All Hallow’s Eve and The Count

Today is day two of sneak peeks for the September 19th release at Waltzingmouse Stamps and I’m sharing a little Halloween spookiness.  I love creating for this holiday!  Let’s look at three more sets: Splat That, All Hallow’s Eve, and The Count.

This first card primarily uses the All Hallow's Eve set.  I stamped this terrific raven image onto an old page of book text.  The background paper was stamped with a sentiment and beautiful scrolled flower detail from the same set.  That scroll stamp alone is so detailed and wonderful to stamp with!

See what I mean?  Oh, and I worked in one of the stamps from Splat That on the background, too.  Can you see it?  It adds a subtle detail, yet aged my card perfectly with the help of some distress ink.

This card has a completely different feel.  I used the new The Count set to create a creepy, yet contemporary card.  I realize this is creepy, but it also makes me laugh because the stamp from Splat That paired with Festive Berries Distress Ink makes the perfect blood spatters!  I know, creepy...but totally impressive, no?!

I really like the vintage look to your Raven card - that flourish is just so gorgeous. Love the clean, simple lines on your second card. That splat is super!

I for-see the "splats" are going to be sensational hits. They really say a lot in a lot of situations. Cool gray tones, too.
