WMS Release Day Blog Hop

The day has finally come!  Today Waltzingmouse Stamps releases eight new sets, all of which the design team has been sharing for the past few days.  Do you know which one is your favorite?  I love them ALL!  Today the team is having the usual release day hop, so make sure you start at Claire's blog so you don't miss anyone.  If you came from Lynn Mercurio you are right on track!

This card was inspired by a sentiment included in Country Labels No. 14.  And, of course, the Crackle Background Reverse works nicely with it.  I also managed to use some floral images from You're A Doll to embellish the round corners of the card.  Claire always packs in so much in each one of her sets and all of those bits come in handy to add a little more detail to your projects!

On a random note, I ran this card by my daughter to be sure it didn't give the reader another meaning.  She told me it didn't look like a broken heart, because in "cartoons and on tattoos" a broken heart looks like this:

Tattoos?!  Really?? That girl always keeps me on my toes!

There will be a prize of a stamp set of choice from a random drawing from comments left on the design team members' blogs. You have until July 2nd at 11:59 PM (GMT), 5:59AM Central (July 3), 3:59 AM Pacific and 6:59 AM Eastern to leave comments. The winner will be announced on Claire’s blog on July 4th.

Next stop...the wonderfully talented Sandie Dunne!  Thanks for stopping in today!

I really like your crackle card! It reminds me of the broken china craft that is so popular.

Love the crackled heart!! 'Kay tattoos are in....too funny!! Although you could ask my 20 year old- when I was young it was only the sailors that got tattoos (showing my age a titch)!!

Kids say the darnedest things! I'm showing my age. Liked the twist of stamping with white and coloring with pencils.

That is funny what your daughter said. I still think it looks broken. Almost like a stain glass type broken. Your card is Beautiful and your idea is great.
