I'm back with another post inspired by Waltzingmouse Stamps release last month. Two great sets were released: USA 1776 and Country Labels No. 4. You can see my previous post using these two sets here. I've made a little gift to coordinate with my teacher card.
I know usually the card comes after the gift, but in this case it worked the other way around. Today is my daughter's last day of third grade and I wanted to send her to school with a little gift for her teacher.
I made a set of 10 cards and coordinating envelopes. The cards themselves are really simple, which is handy when it comes to making a teacher gift the night before you need it! I used Country Labels No. 4 on all of these cards. I varied the center image and sentiments to make an "all occasion" set. I especially like the cherry card; it has a Mary Engelbreit feel to it! And Glossy Accents really make the cherries pop!
And a red gel pen is just the right touch for a little rustic wreath:
I put the cards into a clear box and added some twine and a tag. I think this is a sentiment any teacher would like to hear. And I truly do appreciate the kindness, understanding and love that Mrs. Deck has shown to my daughter all year long. Teachers are very special people, indeed!
Guess what? I'm not the only one sharing some inspiration today! Make sure you stop by and visit these very talented ladies: Teresa, Jen and Edna. Have a great day!
