Waltzingmouse Stamps March Release Sneak Peek: Folk Art Medallion

So how have you been enjoying the sneak peeks so far?  Thank you all for your sweet comments.  Judging by the look of things, I’d say these new Waltzingmouse Stamps sets are going to be very popular with most of you!  Today is our last day of peeks before the release tomorrow, March 8, and we have a beautiful set to share called Folk Art Medallion.

I’ve said this before, but there are times when I ink up a new WMS stamp for the first time and I let out an audible gasp because the images are just so beautifully illustrated.  The large medallion in this set made me do just that!

So let’s talk about this set.  There are a TON of stamps in this set!  And you can build an infinite number of different backgrounds by stamping them together in combination.  The sky’s the limit here!  I found a great sentiment to match in the Spring Baskets set.  After I die cut my egg shape for this card, I couldn’t think of tossing the leftover frame, so I used it for a second card!

Aqua, coral and gray seem to be my color combo of the moment.  Love this look!  I added the butterfly for the perfect touch of Spring and stamped it all over to create a great, random pattern.  I’m telling you, with these sets you can’t mess it up!

And one more card to share tonight with a completely different color scheme.  The idea of this card popped into my head the moment I saw the large medallion in this set.  And I used the coordinating cut file, which will be available for free!

I love embossing on black cardstock, it’s just so striking!  These colors are a little outside of my zone, but I really do like how they work together.  It just makes me happy!

Once again, be sure to check out this wonderful DT!  They are so talented!

Love the black and white card, and I also love that these stamps come with a matching cut file. Clare is so clever doing that!

Jennifer you are a genius for at least 3 different reasons in this release - LOVE how you used alternative stamps in the medallion spaces, LOVE the mini basket on the Happy Easter card and I'm just swooning at the white embossing on the birthday card. ADORABLE gingham based easter combo...ooooh there's just too much to comment on missy! It's all yum! Hugs to you!

Love your medallion egg Jennifer and then the pretty card you made using the negative cut out with the butterfly!

You just blew my mind with the egg die cut. I would be so in love with the whole medallion that I wouldn't think to cut away part of it, but look how AWESOME it is as an egg!
Love your bold colour scheme on the black-based card, too!

OMGoodness Jennifer! I love what you did with your cards! Specially that first one! It reminded me of those exquisite eggs that they sell for an arm and a leg. For some reason their name eludes me right now! But these are AMAZING!!!

I love the image stamped on the black cardstock. Also, it's extra creative that you didn't stamp it in the center. So pretty.
