Waltzingmouse Stamps Sneak Peek: Ornate Ornaments

And here we are, the third and final day of sneak peeks for the December 1 release at Waltzingmouse Stamps!  It has been a fun few days and I hope you have gotten into the holiday mood just a little bit…I know I sure have!  Today I’m sharing a few fun and festive projects using Ornate Ornaments:

I had a ton of ideas when I first saw this set because, lucky for me, I own two sets of the Spellbinders dies that coordinate with these stamps!  In the end I went with something fun, bright and funky to shake things up.  I love using non traditional colors for Christmas. 

My card was stamped along the bottom using the chevron pattern from Off Beat Backgrounds.  I then stamped the ornament and added polka dots in the white space with a green gel pen.  The raised and glittered effect is hard to see in the photos, but it's really fun and funky in person:

 

 

My second card is a pink version of the same design:

I used a red gel pen for the ornament and a white gel pen on both cards to make the ornament appear as if it were hanging down the card.

Kinda reminds me of peppermint candies for Christmas!
