Today I’m back with a look at two more new sets releasing from Waltzingmouse Stamps on December 1. They are called My Heart and Woodenheart Alphabet. Let’s keep the wood theme going, shall we?
Today I have for you a sweet little holiday card and ornament combo. It’s a little birdhouse, but given the subject in the photo, I should have turned it into a dog house! That little furry guy is Harry, my friend Jim’s sweet dog. I intended to use my daughter’s photo, but had a hard time finding one that fit the space. Harry worked out just perfectly! I used the large woodgrain stamp from yesterday's featured set, Woodgrain Backgrounder Set, and stamped the base of the card. The wreath around the die cut circle is actually a long, straight stamp included in My Heart. I curved it into a circular shape and stamped it around my opening. The berries stamped along the wreath are from Around Christmastime. I added the year using the Woodenheart Alphabet set. Love this font!
Up next, a little love card using the My Heart set:
This is a heart shaped wreath stamp included in this set. I added Liquid Pearls for berries and a sweet little bow at the top. The initials are mine and my husband's, and come from the Woodenheart Alphabet set. I built the sentiment using several stamps from My Heart, along with the ampersand from Woodenheart Alphabet. My Heart includes all kinds of words and phrases to build just the right sentiment for your special someone.
And, because I really couldn't resist making that circular wreath shape in green, I made another Christmas card inspired by the one above:
More red Liquid Pearls were added for berries and, because the stamp wasn't long enough to complete my circle, I had the perfect little space for a bow to finish it off. I love this sentiment, with its mix of script and sans serif fonts. It's from A Cottage Christmas.
Thanks for joining me again today! Be sure to visit the other ladies to see what they have been up to today:
