Waltzingmouse Stamps Sneak Peek Day 2: Vintage Christmas Background & Compliments of the Season 2

Hello and welcome to day two of Waltzingmouse Stamps sneak peeks!  Today the design team is featuring projects using two more terrific sets:  Vintage Christmas Background and Compliments of the Season 2.

Wait a minute!  This isn't a Christmas card!  That's right, but I did use Vintage Christmas Background to make this card.  I stamped the background in black on white cardstock, embossing it with black embossing powder.  To me it had the look of lace and I thought it would be perfect for a Halloween card using some black glitter cardstock and this sentiment from Hocus Pocus.  Take a closer look at my stamped scallops:

Okay, now here's a Christmas card, this time using Compliments of the Season 2:

I love making Christmas cards with unusual color combinations.  I stamped and embossed this sentiment and colored it with Copic markers using purple and aqua.  I used my Spellbinders Labels Ten dies and it was a perfect fit!

So, are you in the Christmas spirit yet?!  I hope you'll check out my fellow design team members' blogs to see what wonderful things they have created for us all:

How fun is that Halloween card?! Such a great idea, Jennifer! Love the layered scallop ruffles. Your label is so pretty colored in that way. The colors are so cheerful and elegant for Christmas, just POP right off the white background!
