Halloween is one of my favorite reasons to get crafty. It's a great excuse to use colors and patterns that you might not think to use otherwise. Like this black glitter paper that I used to make this simple box to hold Halloween Oreos:
I used PSA Vanilla Alphabet and PSA Haunted Shack to create embellishments. If you look closely, you can see the word "boo" stamped behind the "31" on the tag:
And here's a card you don't get to make every day! This freaky little guy is from Skelanimals - Thomas & Friends and I spelled out "eek" using PSA Vanilla Alphabet again:
And, if you've read my blog for awhile, you know I like to create Halloween treats that aren't edible. I think it's nice to create an alternative to candy for the littler ones (and bigger ones, too!). This is just a simple notepad wrapped in patterned paper and embellished:
Another creations using PSA Haunted Shack. I used Copic markers to color in the jack o' lantern and make him look all lit up:
I hope you've been inspired to creation some of your own spooky treats this week. Have a great weekend!
