Waltzingmouse Stamps August Sneak Peek: Day Two

I’m back for day two of Waltzingmouse Stamps release sneak peeks.  Wasn’t yesterday amazing?!  So much to see and take in!  This is a whopper of a release, with nine new sets to showcase.  We have two more special sets to share today: Camellia and Opera Tags.

Whenever I'm working with images found in nature, I like to do a little research so that my coloring is more realistic.  The Camellia is a a beautiful little flower, and this set lives up to that beauty!

The images in this set are so beautiful, in fact, that I wanted to showcase them by making a very simple, clean card.  I wanted the blooms to be the star, but this sentiment included in the set is wonderful, too! The fine line detail that Claire has put into this set is amazing.  I love the slightly heavier outline around the outside of the flowers and leaves.  I stamped two blooms and stamped an additional one so that I could place it on the card with foam dimensionals to make it pop:

Now, do you remember my little gift bag and lotion from yesterday?  How about an addition?

This is just a nice bar of soap wrapped with a floral patterned paper from SEI and one of the tags from Opera Tags.  And guess what makes these tags so much fun to use?!  A very special, very new addition to the Waltzingmouse Stamps line up...coordinating dies!  That's right!  I'm so excited to be working with these new dies and can't wait to learn what other dies we can expect to see in the future!

Again, the stamping on this tag was simple and my coloring took a different turn.  This time I wanted the flower to be very soft and vintage-y to match the tag.  I stamped the words of the sentiment on top of each other, to better fit my tag. And I layered my bloom again with foam dimensionals:

I hope you've enjoyed today's projects.  Don't forget to come back tomorrow for another fun filled day of sneak peeks! And don’t miss visiting the other design team members for their peeks:
