Waltzingmouse Stamps August Release Sneak Peek: Day Three

And here we are for the last day of Waltzingmouse Stamps release sneak peeks. It’s been a great time and I’ve enjoyed your comments on my projects.  I hope you are ready to see a peek of the last three sets: Little Lanterns, Bright Season and Light of the World Sentiments.

Usually it is not until I actually start stamping with Claire's stamps that I truly appreciate all of the thought and design that goes into these stamps.  Take this scroll work from Little Lantern for example.  I stamped it along the top and bottom of my sentiment to create a frame, then stamped the hanger along the side to add the lantern.  Just that one scroll work stamp alone on the top and bottom had me mesmerized!  In my head I have a whole card already planned for just that one little stamp! Funny, I know, but it's true!  Here's a close up of the lantern in the set.  I added a candle and flame for the inside, to coordinate with the sentiment from Light of the World Sentiments.  The scroll work and candle were embossed with white embossing powder so they could really stand out on the Kraft cardstock:

Although it's called Little Lantern and it's one of the smaller Waltzingmouse Stamps sets, there are four different lanterns included in the set!  Up next is a very different card, using Bright Season:
Those light rings were calling my name.  I loved the graphic punch they provided, so I based an entire card around them!  The sentiment is also from Light of the World Sentiments and I just adore it.  What a great thing to add to a card for someone who needs this bit of encouragement.  This sent includes some terrific, unique sentiments that I'm sure you'll find quite inspirational.
I can't believe this is the last day of sneak peeks! It's been a fun time and I've enjoyed sharing all nine of the new sets with you.  Join me tomorrow for the release day blog waltz with the design team and stop in today to for a look at their peeks:

SUCH lovely designs (as always), Jennifer! Somehow I knew you were going to rock that glow image, hee! LOVE the multicolored stamping. You are so right about Claire's images...I always think they are wonderful when we see them...but then stamping with them? A dream! You showcased her scroll work perfectly on your first card!

Nice cards. I love the way you used the different colors on the glow on the second card.

Love these Jennifer. I have to say that when I first saw the "shine" images in these sets, the first thing I though of was creating a background, just like you have created in your second card. FANTASTIC look!

Your first card is very creative too, the way you framed your sentiment within a sign you created. Well both.
