I took this opportunity to make a fall inspired card. The upcoming season is my absolute favorite one for decorating, creating and just plain enjoying. I think I can already feel a slight coolness in the air (or is that wishful thinking?!).
The big ol' pumpkin from Vintage Seed Packet is just the thing for a Thanksgiving or fall themed card. This sentiment from Camellia turned out to be pretty perfect, too! And nothing says fall to me like some houndstooth! I love my Heirloom Patterns set!
I like to use Flourishes - Scallops and Dots to add flourishes to my fall cards. I think it takes on the look of a windy fall day:

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons too! Your card is so lovely! I love the background with the flourish set and houndstooth.
We both live in the Pacific NW and I have definitely noticed the evenings having a little colder nip in the air! I love the change of seasons!

What a beautiful thanksgiving card. Love the Autumn colours and yes the swirls do give the impression of the wind. When I lived in Sydney I loved Autumn, the colours, and the misty mornings with that coolness in the air. It is a magical time of the year.
