Today we are showcasing another terrific set by our very own Anya Schrier, called Playful Pinwheels.
First of all, Anya, way to go! This is a fun set to use and one that I didn’t know was desperately missing in my stamping arsenal! And who knew there would be such wonderful pinwheel inspiration out there...

I just had to make a pinwheel that actually turned, so I stamped the large pinwheel image onto my card base, then stamped several patterns from the Heirloom Patterns set to paper piece on my second pinwheel. I just knew I had to have some houndstooth in there! I used a brad to make the pinwheel turn and covered it with a button, although it would have looked cute with just the brad, too. And, just for good measure, I added some red glitter Stickles for a little sparkle (it is almost the Fourth of July, after all!):
I added more houndstooth and this sentiment from the new My Island set. I can already tell I'll be using these new July sets a ton over the summer!
As usual, there will be a prize of a stamp set of choice from a random drawing from comments left on the design team members’ blogs. You have until Wednesday, July 4th 11:59 PM, 5:59 AM Central, 3:59 AM Pacific and 6:59 AM Eastern to leave comments. A winner will be randomly selected and revealed on Claire’s blog on Friday, July 6th.
Thank you for stopping by today! Next stop is the talented Belinda Chang Langner. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

This is why I paper craft...I can get the same fabulous look with beautiful Waltzing Mouse stamps so quickly. My sewing machine is horribly neglected for the ink pad! Thanks for the chance to win! cjdempsey9 at msn dot com
