Unfortunately the weather was not cooperating today, so I had to photograph my party inside and use my photo tent. I couldn’t spread it out like I wanted to, but I think you will get the idea.
Let’s start with the drinks. I’m sure you recognized the bottled water, but the blue stuff is actually Gatorade. I couldn’t resist using it since it coordinated so nicely with my party colors! I just poured out the water into my glass and filled it back up with Gatorade and added a fun paper straw. I used the wood grain stamp from Way Out West again for the bands around the water bottles. The sentiments are all from My Island and I paired up a few of them to make fun additions to my drinks:
This is such a fun set to work with! I used distress ink for some of the background stamping and brighter colors for the sentiments. It's a packed set, so there was no shortage of inspiration for this party!
Now for the snacks. We’ll have lots of kids coming to our party, so I wanted to make sure to include them. What’s a surf party without fish crackers?! And I also picked up some orange jello and did a little embellishing on it, too.
And, of course, there’s dessert! I found the perfect orange frosted cupcakes at my grocery store and created a wave shaped cupcake wrapper for them using my Silhouette Digital Cutter. Such a cute way to dress up a cupcake for any event! Again, everything gets color coordinated with there's a party involved!
See what I mean about this set being packed?! And there are still several stamps I didn't use! Thank you for being my guest today. I hope you enjoyed the party. I can’t wait until it actually happens at my house in August. Let’s hope the weather cooperates by then!
