SEI Catch Up

Happy Saturday!  I'm still trying to get back into a regular posting routine.  The past few weeks have been about cleaning, organizing and getting a fresh start.  That's what I love most about January.  It feels good to put away the previous year and start anew.

Today I am playing catch up and sharing a few of my SEI projects that have been featured on their blog.  This first one is a simple but elegant invitation:

The black ribbon on this invite reminds me of the tie on a man's tuxedo.  Which was perfect for the feel of a black tie affair, say suitable for New Year's Eve.  Not that I've ever been to such an!  The papers used are from the White Elegance and Silver Valley collections and are some of my favorites.  I love the embossed and foil details.

And, speaking of thank you cards, how about one made from some of your leftover papers and embellishments from Christmas? Here's another one that uses a striking brown and silver striped paper from Silver Valley, with elements from the same collection:

Next up is a CD calendar, something we all need as we start a new year.  These also make terrific gifts:

January's page uses paper from the Holiday Cheer collection and the snowman is one big sticker that you can dress any way you like.  These are so cute and so much fun to work with!  Here's a fall themed page using the Homestead collection:

If you are interested in making you own, I found the CD calendar page templates here.  And, take a look at what's new at SEI.  The new Promise Me collection is fast becoming one of my favorites.  It's absolutely beautiful in stunning and I love the colors! And lucky for you, SEI is having a giveaway on their blog.  Just leave a comment on this post by Sunday, January 15.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!  We are expected to get some snow late today and tomorrow.  I'm never quite sure if I should believe the forecast or not, but my daughter is sure excited to see some of the white stuff!  And I'm just excited to stay inside where it's warm and where I can stamp!
