PSA Essentials & Cottage Cuz Holiday Card Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the PSA Essentials & Cottage Cuz Holiday Card Blog Hop!  If you found your way to me from Janice Wilson’s blog then you are on the right track.  If not, you’ll want to visit Kay Norman and hop along so you don’t miss a thing! And now, onto my holiday card:

This card is pretty clean and simple; perfect for mass producing for Christmas.  I started with a burgundy colored card base and added three snowflakes at the top, stamping them in white pigment ink.  These are from the PSA Essentials Fancy Flakes Peel & Stick Pack and they are some of my favorite stamps to use right now!  I drew the lines with a white gel pen and ruler so they appear to hang down from the top of the card.

My little cat is from the Smirk Happy Holidays Peel & Stick Pack and was stamped onto white cardstock using gray ink.  I prefer gray over black when I want a slightly softer look.  I then colored the cat using Copic markers then created some texture on his hat with a white gel pen to make it look soft and fuzzy:

The sentiment was added along the bottom before I punched it out with a circle punch and adhered it to a slightly larger circle of gray cardstock.  Wouldn't this be a perfect card for the cat lover on your holiday list?!

Now this hop is great for holiday inspiration, but it’s even better since there are prizes involved!  Here are the details:

Readers who hop to each of the blogs, comment at each, and are a follower of PSA Stamp Camp will be entered to win the “Holiday Card” prize.  This prize contains 3 Peel & Stick stamp sets, 1 stamper, 1 black ink & 1-2 color ink from PSA Essentials.   The winner will also receive a $50 gift certificate to The Scrapping Cottage for the grand prize.   There are also 9 opportunities to win a 3 x 3 die from The Scrapping Cottage!  So make sure you complete the hop.  Here is the complete link list in case you missed anyone:
