World Card Making Day

I'm a little late, but it's still October 1, so it's still World Card Making Day!  And I had to pop onto the blog to let you know what's happening at Waltzingmouse Stamps.  I mean, who doesn't want the chance to win free stamps?!  And I also couldn't let the day go by without sharing a card:

I have really enjoyed using my new WMS Halloween sets.  This card features the cutest witch I've ever seen, Gracie from Gracie at Halloween.  I first stamped her onto white cardstock and then inked all around her (carefully!) to create the dark night sky.  The moon was added with a little white pigment ink.  And the skyline, which is my favorite, was created with the border stamp from Way Out West.  Isn't that a neat trick?!

After coloring her with Copics, I ran the whole thing through my Xyron machine and covered it with glitter.  It's so hard to photograph glittered objects, but trust me, it's nice and sparkly in person!

Enjoy your weekend and make sure you make a card for World Card Making Day!  Thanks for stopping by!
