WMSC #68

It's time for another Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge!  I haven't played along in quite awhile, but I was fortunate to have some extra time this week and I love the sketch!  I was feeling some Halloween inspiration:

I love creating for Halloween and I love Claire's Halloween images!  For this card I went a little vintage.  Not my usual style, but I think it's a fun one for Halloween.  I used some of my new My Mind's Eye paper (love!) for the background.  The long rectangular stamped piece was actually leftover from something else I had attempted to create.  I set it aside because I knew I'd use it one day.  Love it when that happens!  I stamped the text from Text-It and stamped over it with some flourishes from Flourishes - Scallops & Dots using distress ink.  It gives a very subtle appearance.  And little Gracie was stamped and colored with Copic markers.  I kept the coloring simple and only used a few colors:

And, lastly, my little bat embellishment was created using my Silhouette digital cutter and downloaded image.  I glittered him up with black glitter and adhered with some foam dimenstionals.  I made extra, so you'll be seeing them a lot!

Thanks for stopping by and please join us for this week's sketch!
