More Purple Onion and Tombow

I'm back with my second project for the Purple Onion Designs and Tombow blog hop, ending Friday, September 23.  If you've missed a few days, make sure you visit the POD blog and catch up!  I have another Halloween card to share today, as it's one of my favorite crafting holidays:

This card uses the tiny little spider and one of the sentiments included in the Halloween Set from POD.  This was one of my first POD sets sent to me by Michele when I was "trying out" for the design team.  So I think I'll always have a soft spot for this one!  I colored my spiders using the Tombow Groovy Dual Brush markers.  I scribbled several colors on a piece of plastic and used the colorless blender pen to "paint" the spiders.  I was able to blend my colors this way and make my orange a little more rusty by adding some brown.  That's one of the great features of the blender pen - it's one of my must have tools!  I used foam tabs to pop up a few of my spiders, to make them extra scary (wink!).  The fine tip of the black marker was used to draw my spider web strings:

Pretty mean scary, right?! How could you step on one of these little guys???

Thanks for joining me for the hop this week.  Both the Tombow and POD design teams are super creative.  Thanks for the inspiration everyone!
