More My Memories

There is still time to enter the My Memories software giveaway.  You can read the original post here and view my first project using the software.  Tonight I wanted to share with you another creation using the My Memories software and kits, and this time it's not a scrapbook page:

I think this project really highlights the versatility of the My Memories software.  This birthday invitation took me about 20 minutes to make.  It's 4 x 6 in size and I can have it printed at my local Costco for a mere 13 cents each!  I know there is no way I could individually create paper invitations for that price!  Not to mention it would take me a lot more than 20 minutes to make them!  Don't get me wrong, I still love creating with paper, but digital is a great way to go for mass producing!  I may even use this software to create my own photo Christmas cards this year.

For this invite I used the Birthday Circus digital kit from My Memories.  As you can see, the kit includes a variety of items and you don't necessarily have to create a circus themed project.  And I love that I can manipulate the digital items to fit my needs.  For instance, the journaling tag that contains the party information was originally a circle shape.  I turned it into more of an oval because I thought it fit both the page and the text better.

Don't forget to get the details on the giveaway here and leave your comment to enter on that post (not this one).  You have until Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. PST to enter the contest for the free software and $10.00 to use online in the My Memories store.  Don't miss out!
