Friends Are Flowers That Never Fade

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  It's a happy day because it's not Monday!  I know it's all about attitude, but I am just never prepared for Monday, no matter how much I try.  It's almost as if I'm in denial that my weekend is going to come to an end.  But this weekend was a very productive one, as I got all kinds of crafty and got caught up on some design assignments.  Here's a card for Purple Onion Designs:

I think aqua and purple are so interesting together.  For this card I used my Spellbinders Label Twelve die and cut a piece of white cardstock.  That's right, the cardstock is actually white!  I stamped the Heart Flower off the piece and colored the image with Copic markers.  I colored the entire background with a Copic marker and added the large dots by dropping ink from my Copic ink refill over the piece.  I had to be careful that I didn't make a big old mess, but I got lucky and it worked just fine!  I then added one of the sentiments from Flower Quotes:

The little butterfly was paper punched from white cardstock and I colored it with Copics to coordinate with my card.  The dots were created using my colorless blender.  I just love using this flower on my cards lately! Trying out new color combinations and patterns has been a lot of fun.  And it's a nice, larger size for those of us still learning how to use our Copics!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget to enter the giveaway here.  At this point your chances for winning are pretty good!
