Eat Cake!

This week PSA Essentials has partnered with a great adhesive company, Helmar! Helmar USA, Inc. distributes Helmar products manufactured in Australia. They have a wide variety of adhesives and art mediums.  All week long the PSA design team's projects using Helmar adhesives will be shared on the PSA Stamp Camp blog. Comment each day and, at the end, one lucky winner will receive a prize package from Helmar and PSA Essentials valued at over $250! Just leave a comment and become a follower of the PSA Stamp Camp blog (if you aren't already!).  And now for my project:

The focal image was created by stamping the cupcake image from the Cupcake Peel and Stick Stamp Pack three times, removing some of the ink each time.  I colored the images with my Copic markers and added glitter "sprinkles" and some glossy accents to the cherry.  I love using that stuff!  The lovely Caribbean twine is from The Twinery.  This twine is also becoming a favorite of mine; I have a new favorite color each week!  Here's a close up on the cupcakes:

I have to tell you, since receiving some of the Helmar products, I have been using them on almost every card!  I especially love the ZapDots, which are 3D double sided adhesives.  The 1/4" size is prefect for smaller images, while the 1/2" size does the job for larger pieces, like on this card.  I love the added dimension it gives:

And, the ZapDots come in black!  Now that might not seem like a big thing, but when you're using darker cardstock sometimes you prefer your adhesive to blend right in.  With the black dots, when you look at the card from the side you don't see bright white adhesive dots staring back at you! It is especially nice for creating cards for special occasions, like wedding invitations or announcements.

Don't forgot get stop by the PSA Stamp Camp blog for your chance to win! Good luck!
