June WMS Stamp of Approval Parade - Day 1

Hello and welcome to the very first day of Waltzingmouse Stamps June Stamp of Approval Parade (SOAP). And what is SOAP, you ask?! Claire Brennan, owner of Waltzingmouse Stamps, has made a decision to release new sets every other month. On the “non release” months, the WMS Design Team will be showcasing the previous month’s release along with another previously released WMS set. Isn’t this a fabulous idea? I think so…it’s been so much fun to keep playing with my May sets as well as revisit an old friend, Free Spirit - Boy! But for today, I'm sharing a card using Say it Loud.

The combination of fonts, the large sentiments and the way you can mix and match them to create almost any card you want...these reasons and more are why I love this set! I created this card very simply by adding several of the stamps onto an acrylic block. I used white, gray and berry sorbet for a simple, yet elegant look. The tiny flower stamp is from the Dainty Doilies - Large set. It filled in the spaces nicely and a rhinestone in each center was just what this card needed to make it extra special. And I had to add ribbon for another pop of the berry sorbet color.

Of course, there is a lot more to see, so make sure you stop by each one of the design team members’ blogs to check out all of the WMS goodness:

Anya Schrier
Belinda Chang Langner
Bonnie Sharp
Claire Brennan
Jennifer Holmes (you are here!)
Julia Aston
Kate Whelan
Laurie Schmidlin
Lynn Mercurio
Mona Pendleton
Niki Estes
Sandie Dunne
Sarah Martina Parker
Tosha Leyendekker

Thanks for stopping by my blog and and come back tomorrow...the WMS parade continues!

fabulous! I had an idea in my head similar to this using only the large sentiments from Say It Loud but on paper it didn't work. I will try it again using the smaller sentiments in between now. Thanks for the inspiration!

I'm always amazed (and let's face it, a little depressed - haha!) when I visit you. You are such a talented creator! Your photos weren't showing up for me this morning in Google Reader, so I'm on your actual blog and just loving it to pieces!! What an inspiration...
