Happy Mother's Day!

To the mothers and the mother figures, Happy Mother's Day to you! This weekend is a true "girls weekend," as it's my daughter's birthday tomorrow. So Olivia and I are making it all about us! We started things off yesterday morning with a pedicure, followed by dinner with my parents and my sister and her family. And today my husband brought me Starbucks coffee and each of us our favorite scone. That's a great way to start the day!

So today I'm sharing the card I made for my Mom. I created it when I made this card, because I loved the color combination and roses so much, I couldn't stop with just one card!

I used one of my favorite Waltzingmouse Stamps set, Roses in Bloom. I stamped them randomly on my card and colored them with Copics. I used my colorless blender quite a bit to give the roses a soft, worn look. I really like the pink-on-pink. And because I didn't want to cover them all up, I added a simple little tag that really says it all:

I decided to make some cards for my sister and my Mom to give them at dinner. I think a gift of handmade cards is always appreciated and is really very practical. And with the Dainty Doilies Large and Dainty Doilies 2 Small sets, these were a snap to create very quickly!

I made a set of cards for each of them, using different sentiments from the Say it Loud set. I ADORE this set! These sentiments really do fit every occasion, rounding out this gift perfectly!

I packaged the cards in acetate card boxes, adding a special touch using my personalized stamp from PSA Essentials. I think this really adds a professional look, plus it really impresses anyone who gets this gift;) And I'm loving this Pink Sorbet twine from The Twinery:

If you're interested in your own personalized stamper, you can read more here on the PSA Essentials website and here for a list of where you can buy. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Have a great day with friends and family!
