May WMS Sneak Peek: Join Us

I’m back for a second day of Waltzingmouse Stamps sneak peeks! What do you think so far? One of the things I love about working with Claire is that she has a knack for thinking up the sets that we need as well as want. Today’s set, Join Us, is another great example of a set that will fill a void in my stamp collection.

Where do I start with this terrific set?! For starters, it's jam packed with sentiments, sentiments and more sentiments to mix and match to create just the perfect wording for any occasion. I opted to create a party invite for this first card, using two different stamps in this great font. I added the branch detail to the sides, with a little Liquid Pearls for the "berries." The background was created with another element of the set. I can already tell you this one will get a lot of love!

Now, after the party, how about sending a thank you to your guests? You can do that, too, with Join Us! There are thank you sentiments included, and I love the script font Claire chose to use.

I'm a sucker for a great font combination, and I love how these two work. The scroll detail was added to give a little pizazz. The rhinestones help in that area, too!

I haven't even scratched the surface here, but I can tell you the cards practically make themselves! You really can't go wrong with this all occasion set. It makes me now want to invite someone to something!

I hope you enjoyed today’s peek! Make sure you visit the other design team members today for more great peeks at Join Us!

Great cards, Jennifer! Love the elegant background of the first. And I could see the second being mass produced - LOVE the simple design.

Your cards yesterday were absolutely beautiful. Loved the technique that you used to make them look slightly worn. Pairing that with Roses in Bloom was perfect.

I've been unable to post using my Google id (Google Blogger is having system issues), but I have discovered today that Anonymous still works. Not an ideal solution, but it is working for now.

I wondered if you used liquid pearls on the top card, makes a nice, soft touch. Very pretty!

Your card are elegant. There is something about the firsy card that says Great Gatsby to me in a way that is chic, debonair... it has a Roaring 20's feel to it. I love it.
