April WMS Stamp of Approval Parade - Day 4

Today is the final day of Waltzingmouse Stamps April Stamp of Approval Parade (SOAP) and today the design team is sharing projects using Spring Baskets. This set happens to be a personal favorite!

I took a very soft approach on this card. Lately one of my favorite things to do is to use gray ink rather than black. The difference is amazing! I think it adds an elegant touch to any card. I also love my Frame It set! I used the square frame on this card and I love the subtle design it adds. I colored the flowers using Copics and a very light touch. I used my blender pen to go over the flowers and remove some color. I wanted the end result to look almost watercolored:

A little satin bow on the side was the final touch. Pink and green are two of my favorite colors together and always remind me of my daughter's nursery when she was a baby. Ah, sigh...

You may have read already that WMS is welcoming three new members on the design team. I'm very excited to be working with such talent! Make sure you visit the other design team members today to see what they have in store and help me welcome our newest additions!

I hope that you have enjoyed the past few days from our Stamp of Approval Parade in which we highlighting last month’s sets and the Spring Baskets set. If you’re feeling inspired by the past few days, we invite you to participate in a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) competition.

Find a card or project from any of the projects posted over the past few days by the WMS Design Team, CASE that project using Waltzingmouse Stamp images, and link it using the Inlinkz on Claire’s blog. At the end of the competition, one project will be randomly selected to be highlighted with a Parade of its own on several of the Design Team blogs. You have one week to complete and link your project, as the competition will close at 8:00 AM Claire’s time on April 10th, which is 3 AM Eastern, 2 AM Central and Midnight, Pacific time. The winner will be announced on Claire’s blog on April 11th. Have fun and good luck!
