March WMS Sneak Peek - Day 2

I’m back for the second day of sneak peeks for the March Waltzingmouse Stamps release! What did you think of yesterday’s peeks? How fun do those Western sets look?! Today the design team is sharing sneak peeks for a third new set called Vintage Labels 18. And, as you may have guessed, it coordinates with the Labels Eighteen die from Spellbinders! Don’t we just love that?!

This first card practically created itself. There is something so striking about the color combination of black and cream, yet I've never really tried it out before. I love the elegant look of this large frame from Vintage Labels 18 - it just makes such a statement, you don't need much else on your card! For the center, I stamped my sentiment from the Sweethearts set, then stamped the small heart from the same set and embossed it with clear embossing powder.

This one might just end up being an Anniversary card for my husband in a few months. It's not too girly, is it?!

Now, for something completely different. I just had to make something a little cheery and Spring like for today, as we still have about 6-8 inches of snow on the ground and it's cold! Although the sentiment isn't true where we live, I sure wish it was!

I love this polka dot frame from Vintage Labels 18! For the center, I did a little masking and stamped the daffodils from Spring Baskets inside. The sentiment is from the same set - I curved it slightly to fit inside the frame better. The card base is a Grand Labels One die that I folded in half. I added a little plaid for the background using my Off Beat Backgrounds set and some scrunched silk ribbon to finish it off.

And, just a note about my labels. My Labels Eighteen dies haven't arrived just yet, but I was able to cut out the shape using the Trace feature on my Silhouette. I just wanted to point that out, in case you have slightly different results when using the actual Labels Eighteen dies.

Now make sure you visit the other design team members for more sneak peeks today:

Come back tomorrow for more Waltzingmouse goodness! I’ll be sharing sneak peeks every day and waltzing with the design team on release day, March 1. You don’t want to miss out on a thing!

Wow, Jennifer. Your black/cream card just screams style and elegance. This lovely shaped card really draws you in. Your little bits of added bling are just the right bit to top off this design.

Your spring card just epitomizes the season with those bring colors and the daffodils that are sure to be making their appearance in short order.

Outstanding job with these projects.
