Goodness!

Hello? Are you still out there?! You were probably starting to wonder about me. My blog has gone neglected these days. You now what they say...it's the most busiest time of the year! Okay, so it's suppose to be the most wonderful time, but at the moment it's very busy! So here's the quick wrap up on what I've been doing the past two weeks. First of all, Black Friday shopping was cra.zy! My sister and I pulled an all nighter...as in we didn't sleep all night but shopped instead! That's the first time we did that and it was fun and exhausting all at the same time! I was feeling pretty loopy some time around 3:00 a.m. but coffee sure helped. Next up was our first party of the holiday season, which was last weekend. This required we finished up some home improvement projects and completed our holiday decorating in time for our guests. The party was fun and exhausting at the same time. Wait. That sounds familiar...lol!

And now...now I have a ton of things to do, including some personal Christmas projects for gifts, our family Christmas cards, baking, design work galore and much, much more! But I will definitely be back to show some fun things for the holiday season. But first I need to remind you that you still have a few more days to catch the Purple Onion Designs holiday sale...

And, as my way to apologize for being gone so long, I'm giving away two sets of my new Purple Onion set, Handwritten Holiday:

Just leave me a comment on this post and let me know what you've been up to this holiday season. You have until Thursday, December 9, at 7:00 p.m. PST to enter to win. I'll randomly select two winners shortly thereafter. And, sorry, but I am only going to ship within the United States on this one, due to the close proximity of the holidays. I want to make sure your stamps get to you in time!

Thanks for sticking with me and I'll "see" you soon!

Such a cute set. For the holidays, I've been working on gift tags very slowly. I have high hopes for making card gift sets, but seems that time is running out... Thanks for the chance to win, and Happy Holidays!

Your blog looks beautiful!!!!!
Cards are mailed out, had to take the easy route and made picture cards at Costco. I'm in the midst of decorating for 2 parties coming up this Sunday (my scrapbooking girlfriends) and Monday evening, Bunco group. After that it's all about baking, wrapping, making a stocking for my new puppy, mailing gifts and maybe a project or two.
Christmas shopping almost done, just have a couple of things for my mother and my husband.
Whew!

You are not alone in feeling overwhelmed it is natural at this time of year. Taking a little me time works so I try to read in the morning for 15 minutes - it starts my day off relaxing and I am refueled to face my day! Of course sometimes the book is so good I do not want to put it down! Your word set is adorable and thanks for the chance to win it :)

Hi Jennifer!
I also went out on Black Friday for 11 hours of shopping! It was fun and crazy and felt like it was 4:00 pm when it was only 11 am! I still need to buy a few more gifts and work on some scrapbook projects that I'd like to give for Christmas.

It is always crazy around here between Thanksgivng and Christmas but this year has been especially hard since I am back in school. I finished my exams this week so I am now in holiday mode. We did start our advent calendar (never mind that I didn't finish it until day 2) and I have gotten some shopping done. I have a lot of handmade gifts I'd like to make and some more decorating to do.

Oh, and I still have most of our shopping to do, too! EEK!!! Happy Holidays Jennifer! :-)

This Holiday Season I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off! My mom was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and so I've been running her to her Dr. appts and such. In between that, I've been home-schooling my kiddos and working for my husband. When I can grab a minute I try to work on cute Christmas gifts! Needless to say, my own blog has been shamlessly neglected as well. I am missing my crafty mojo, something fierce!

Yea! You are back! You have been missed, my friend! Although I already have this FABULOUS set, I still wanted to "play along"! We have a church Christmas dinner at our house this Sunday (YIKES!), so are franticly cleaning and decorating. Teen youth group progressive dinner next week, so more cleaning (sooo NOT my favorite thing to do!). One of these days I will be able to get my cards and other crafty projects done! Weeee!

Hi Jennifer!

It's wonderful to hear from you again. Its been crazy in my world as well with shopping for gifts for family and friends, making and giving away 200 gift tags to coworkers and creating christmas cards (my goal is to be done by Dec. 14th to mail!).
It's been busy, but fun! I love the holiday season.

Thank you for a chance to win the stamp set.

Jennifer,
Crazy wonderful time of the year. Everyone is so busy that I completely understand neglecting a blog. I checked my own and it was Thanksgiving since I last updated it. Been making Christmas cards and haven't taken a single photo and started crafting the blog post. But thinaks for the giveaway--that should be inspiration to get something done!!
