November WMS Sneak Peek - Day Two

I'm back today for a second day of sneak peeks for the November Waltzingmouse Stamps release. Weren't the design team's projects amazing yesterday?

Today I'm featuring another terrific set releasing November 7 called Festive Foliage. I think this one is fast becoming my favorite! The first thing that caught my eye were these wonderful pine cones:

While this set is full of possibilities for the holidays, I also feel that it's versatile enough for all year round and will especially come in handy for masculine cards. For this card I stamped the square frame from Frame It and stamped my foliage image in the space where a sentiment would go. I stamped another small pine cone from the set to help fill in the space. You can't even tell these three pine cones weren't one stamp! I then used my white pen to add some snow to the pine cones:

The sentiment was created using several stamps. The "Happy Birthday" is from Frame It, while the "to" and "You" are both from the new Around Christmastime set I featured yesterday. Don't they all look great together?

Now, I had to make a holiday card while I had this set out. The holly leaves in this set were calling my name! I just love how Claire illustrated these particular leaves and the separate cluster of berries. So elegant!

After stamping my leaves and berries, I went back and stamped over the entire card with my favorite script stamp from Text It using Antique Linen distress ink by Ranger. I then finished the card with a simple satin ribbon, tag and another snowflake button from my stash:

Well, are you getting into the holiday mood yet? I realize it's early for many of you, but I'm pleased as can be that I'm adding some Christmas cards to my stash!

Don't forget to check out what my fellow design team members have made for you; I'm sure there is some fabulous stuff to be seen:

I mass produce my Christmas cards and 'thought' I was set with my design, then I saw your holly card. I may need to rethink my design. I'm not sure if I should thank you for that. ;-)

love how you matched fonts across sets. makes it so versatile - the interplaying of sets. the lil white snow on each pine cone is lovely. the second is just elegant from top to bottom. love the lil distressed brown on the label.

Yum Yum Yum!!!! Brilliant idea to use the Frame It set with Festive Foliage, and I love how you added snow... why didn't I think of that? And the subtle elegance of your second card is wonderful!
