It’s time for another Friends of WMS Blog Waltz with Waltzingmouse Stamps and this time the theme is Christmas! How much fun will this be today? And the design team is playing along with the usual watermark game. Look very closely at our photos and count up the watermarks you find. Enter your guess on the forum thread for a chance to win!
So I’ve had the opportunity to start on some of my personal Christmas projects and lately I’ve discovered how much I love the red, white and silver color combination:
This is a simple, very easy to mass produce Christmas card. And, because it’s relatively flat, no extra postage! I stamped the poinsettia from Big Blooms Poinsettias on red cardstock using silver pigment ink. It’s hard to capture the silver sparkle in the photos, but it’s really striking against the red. I’ve recently discovered the Brilliance ink line (where have I been?!) and I think I’m in love with the metallic colors for Christmas. So after my card was put together, I added a little bit of dimension with the Glossy Accents on the tree, but other than that it was a no fuss card.
Thanks for waltzing by! And, in case you haven't yet noticed the badge on my sidebar, I’ll be Holiday Hoppin’ on the 19th, so make sure you stop back by! I’ll be featuring great products from both Waltzingmouse Stamps and Spellbinders! See you then!
