What Can I Say?

Well, that's it. I'm officially falling apart. Okay, that was a little dramatic, but I'm feeling a bit scattered these days. My daughter is sick (again), I'm up to my neck in design deadlines and I missed World Card Making Day. Didn't even get a single thing stamped for it. Nothing. Instead, I spent most of the day painting in my house and doing some decorating. I finally got a project done that I've been thinking about for over a year! So it was a productive day, just not in the way of card making. But I'm making up for it soon (you'll know what I mean when you visit my blog tomorrow, and over the next few days). Until then, I have a Purple Onion Designs card to share:

This card utilizes a few shapes I made using my Silhouette digital cutter. The spider web and frame, specifically. I love the font on this sentiment, and although the Basic Grey paper is great, I couldn't resist adding some damask stamping on the background. Another one of my favorites. To finish it off, I added some silk ribbon that I "dyed" with a Copic marker and a button and some twine:

If you haven't visited Purple Onion recently, you may want to check out this deal. Grab bags full of stamping goodness for only $15.00, while they last.

Have a great weekend and see you tomorrow...lots of stamping happened today, lots!

Stamps: Damask, Trick or Treat (POD)
Paper: Kraft, True Black, Stamper's Select White (PTI), shimmer white, BasicGrey
Ink: True Black, Vintage Chai & Chamomile (PTI), Antique Linen distress (Ranger)
Other: button, twine, silk ribbon

Love it!!! :) Stamping on patterned paper is such a great idea! If you didn't mention it I would have thought they belonged there!

I say it's okay to let the stamping go sometimes...otherwise it becomes too much pressure and other things need to be done, don't they? I love it when you post, but don't beat yourself up! :)
