I know you've seen this little submarine already this week, but since I had this one done and ready to go, I decided to share it anyway. Isn't it so cute? I love this 3 x 6 inch card size; it was perfect for creating my little sea scene. I sponged some cardstock with ink to create an (almost) murky water effect. I did this along the bottom, too, in green tones. The little star stamp in the set doubled as a starfish stamp for the bottom of my sea scene. And I wanted my sub to be very boy, almost military like, so I used a lot of green and gray Copics to colored it in. I cut out the sub and mounted it on my card with foam dimensionals. Then a little Glossy Accents was in order to create a glass like effect for my little guy to peek out of:
And, speaking of Glossy Accents, I had to use it for my little fishies, for some air bubbles:
Anybody else have "Yellow Submarine" running through their head?! I bet you do now...lol!
