Waltzingmouse Stamps September Sneak Peek Day 2

Hello and welcome to the second day of sneak peeks for the September Waltzingmouse Stamps release! WMS is releasing five (yes, five!) wonderful sets on September 12, including the one I'm featuring today, Teeny Trees.

I absolutely adore this set! It's so versatile, I had a hard time putting it down! You can easily use this set all year round, for any occasion. For this first card I was feeling inspired by the start of school and the chill in the air. I used several papers I had lying around from my recent school scrapbook project. I stamped my little tree with just a few leaves hanging on and several more falling to the ground. I even used one as an embellishment to my sentiment. And don't you just love this font combination?!

And did you notice the circular pattern I stamped in the background? The individual tree shapes included in the set don't have to be used just to make trees! They make fabulous backgrounds, too! Now to finish my card off, I added some twine, buttons and little leaf. I can't get enough of these warm autumn colors!

And speaking of autumn, I've also been very much into Halloween cards. And, low and behold, this set is great for that, too! Here I used it to make some spooky little trees:

On this card I stamped my tree branches with a dark gray ink and stamped the tree top by first stamping off on a piece of paper. I wanted the trees to be much lighter and airy, as if they were in the background. I then added some adhesive rhinestones for a little sparkle. Notice those circles again? This time I masked off a portion of my card and made little half circles along the card front. I think they almost look like little headstones in the graveyard (eeekkk!)

My sentiment and bats are from the Midnight Feast set. Oh how I love that set! One last thing to point out. Teeny Trees is packed with all sorts of little bits to add to your trees, or to anything else you like. I used a few star stamps here to add a border around my entire card, as well as near my glittery moon. I used my Stardust pen to add a bit of sparkle to them, too:

Thank you for stopping by today and for all of the sweet comments you left for me yesterday! I read each and every one and you make my day! Now make sure you check out the rest of the talented WMS design team to see what they have in store. You won't be disappointed!

Hi Jennifer, these two are gorgeous! I love how you gave a different look to the same stamp by only adding a few details. The colors of the papers are so pretty, even for a halloween card they look soft and completely beautiful. Have a lovely day!
