WMS August Sneak Peek Day 1

Oh, happy day! Today is the first day of Waltzingmouse Stamps sneak peeks for the August release! Can you believe it's time already?! There is so much to tell you, so let's get started!

First off, the new WMS store went live this week. Have you seen it? It's so purdy! And WMS now has a gallery, so feel free to upload your wonderful creations so we can all see what you're creating with Waltzingmouse Stamps!

As you may have discovered, the August release is coming early this time due to Claire's (well deserved!) vacation. New stamps will be available to order beginning July 27. And Claire's offering free shipping with every order over £50GBP until she returns on August 15. How great is that?!

And last, but certainly not least, WMS welcomes a new design team member today, Mona Pendleton! I am thrilled to have Mona on the team; she is a super talented, sweet lady who will make a fabulous addition. Welcome, Mona!

And now onto the card...today I'm also playing along with this week's sketch on the WMS Sketch Challenge Blog:

Here's a glimpse into one of two new sets releasing July 27th called Midnight Feast. Don't you just love that witch?! I've got to tell you, I can practically see hear the little nose twitch ala Samantha from Bewitched...lol! I just LOVE this set! It's packed to the gills with terrific images for Halloween and loads of fun haunting sentiments! Oooh, scary!

To start this card off, I stamped the stars in Versamark ink and embossed them with clear embossing powder. I then stamped an image from the Very Vintage Labels No. 1 set, cut it out, and used it as a background for my witch. I stamped and punched out the witch image, colored in the moon with Copics, ran it through my Zyron machine, and then glittered it up to give it a real mystic moon twinkle:

I have to tell you, I am so excited about this release! I just LOVE Halloween creations and the two new sets this month are so much fun to work with! Make sure you check out my fellow design team members to see what spooky peeks they have for you today:

Whew, that's a lot for one day, right? Well, make sure you stop back by tomorrow for my second sneak peek! It's going to be hauntingly horrific (or totally adorable, I can't decide!).

First - I just love your new banner Jennifer! Your family photos look so cute under the flags! I love the way you stamped your card today - the stars look great in the versamark - and the sparkle on Wanda is super - how clever to frame her with the label stamping!

Great approach to the sketch. These elegant images look fabulous against the kraft paper. And the mystic moon is definitely twinkling, a perfect backdrop for Wanda.
