Interesting, right? I don't know if I've ever worked with a sketch quite like this, but I wanted to give it a try. And since I was having so much fun with the new Halloween stamps, I thought I'd whip up another spooky delight:
This is a clean and simple card, with a tough of elegance. Something a little different for Halloween. I think the swirls and rhinestones did the trick; they class up any card! I used my Silhouette digital cutter to make the flourish pattern, then cut it down to size for my card front. I stamped and embossed a few bats in the corner with clear embossing powder. It's subtle, but I like what it adds to the card (click on the photo for a larger view). The circle sentiment stamp is from the new Midnight Feast set and it was also embossed, only with black embossing powder. The last touch was to some bling:
I have to say, it's been a lot of fun to work on Halloween projects this week. I really do love making things for that time of year. As a matter of fact, I'm feeling inspired to work on more Fall related projects. It must be our unusually cool summer we're having. It's suddenly making me want to buy new pencils and notebooks...lol!
I hope you are all having a great weekend. I plan to get some serious time in on my latest scrapbook project. Yes, you read that right...a scrapbook! I'll share just as soon as I get a few pages done. How's that for a tease?!
