July Friends of WMS Blog Waltz

ETA: As usual, there are prizes to be had for this Waltz! Keep your eyes open when you come across an WMS Design Team member's project. There may (or may not) be some snake watermarks hidden in the photos. Count them up and post your best guess here on the WMS forum.

Happy Saturday! Well, there's a lot going on today in blogland! We have both a Friends of WMS Blog Waltz and another great WMS Sketch Challenge! So I decided to combine the Blog Waltz colors (blue, green and a neutral) with this week's sketch:
And when you mix it all up, this is what you get:

I will admit, this week's sketch was a real tough one for me! I had to take some liberties with it and hope for the best! Using the colors was much easier, and I was very luck to have some scraps of patterned paper in my stash that coordinate just perfectly. I made a mini banner and strung it with crochet thread and attached it with some brads. I added little buttons in between each pendant. But my favorite part is the background, created using Pic-Nic Patterns and the little flourish around the edges is from Seasons of Love - Tags. The sentiment is from L'il Buddies:

This little card makes me happy! And so does seeing what everyone else created for these two events. So off I go to check it out! Have a great weekend and happy waltzing!

Stamps: Seasons of Love - Tags, Pic-Nic Patterns, L'il Buddies (WMS)
Paper: Kraft, Aqua Mist (PTI), miscellaneous patterned paper
Ink: True Black, Aqua Mist (PTI)
Other: white velvet ric rac trim (Maya Roads), Aqua Mist, Ripe Avocado and Vintage Cream vintage buttons (PTI), crochet thread, brads
