This is a little card I made a while back to try out my skills at making my own flower embellishment. I stamped three different sizes of flowers with a text background stamp, inked the edges and roughed it up quite a bit by rolling the flowers around until the paper started to crinkle and separate. I used ribbon for leaves and a button for the center.
Did you notice the ribbon on this card? I did something a little different. I added a strip of sticky tape along the scalloped edge and stuck my ribbon down to it, making sure to scrunch it along the way so it looked uneven and a little messy. And speaking of messy, I'm feeling a little sentimental today. Thus the following random thought...
I want to thank you all for visiting my blog each and every day. July 1st was my two year anniversary of blogging. I feel like I've made so many virtual friends in that time. Like Jenn, who's leaving on vacation soon (enjoy Spokane...it's going to be hot!). Then there's Lynn, Amy, Kathy and Diane (just to name a few) who are frequent visitors and always take the time to leave the sweetest comments. And thanks to the rest of you, too! Each and every one of you mean so much to me!
