Welcome to another Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz! If you found me from Laurie's blog, then you're right on track. If not, make sure you go back to Claire's blog and start at the beginning so you don't miss a thing!
The first of the month is usually the time when the design team shows off new stamps from the release, but this month we're shaking things up a bit. Since Claire is not releasing new stamps this month, the design team is showcasing previously released stamps. I decided to use my very first WMS set, Blessed by You, for this card. I absolutely love the apple image from this set, and it's just perfect to create a card for my daughter's teacher as we wrap up the school year:
I stamped the sentiment repeatedly in white ink to create a background similar to chalk on a chalkboard. (Although I don't think too many teachers use chalk anymore, do they?) This patterned paper was perfect; I just added the spiral notebook punch along the edge and torn the bottom. I added a fun paperclip and some teeny, tiny buttons from my stash. I love the dimension on this card, with things sticking up and the paper crumpled a bit:
Now off you go to check out Belinda's blog to see which set she is featuring today. Have a great day and don't forget...revisit some of your older WMS stamps and have fun!

Stamps: Blessed by You (WMS)
Paper: True Black, Pure Poppy, Kraft (PTI), Basic Grey
Ink: Fresh Snow, New Canvas, True Black, Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet (PTI), distress ink (Ranger)
Other: foam dimensionals, paperclip, buttons, spiral notebook punch (SU!), small scalloped border die (PTI)
