There are many words to describe my stamping style, but vintage has never been one of them! But the new Victorian Fripperie set is such a beautifully designed set that I had no problem stepping outside of my comfort zone! I started by stamping a soft background with Antique Linen distress ink and the gorgeous border stamp from the set. LOVE it! I inked my edges with more distress ink and added some pink. The sentiment is from Roses in Bloom - I simply inked and stamped it in two sections so that it would fill in some space on my focal image. And don't you love that stamp, too? It would be great for tags, journaling, you name it. It worked perfectly with my Labels Two dies from Spellbinders.
To finish off the card, I made a large flower using flower shaped dies and some shimmer pink cardstock I had in my stash. I inked the edges and roughed it up quite a bit before adhering it to my card. The last touches were a few stickers from my stash and some adhesive rhinestones to add sparkle:
I love the soft, feminine feel to this card. It was so much fun to make and I am having a hard time putting down the new Victorian Fripperie set! It's as much fun to use as it is to say! Now make sure you visit the other WMS design team members who have peeks to share today:
