Waltzingmouse Stamps July Sneak Peek Day 1

It's Waltzingmouse Stamps sneak peek time! Today begins the first of three days of sneak peeks and I have something to share with you each and every day! And did you see Claire's announcement? This month we have a terrific guest designer, Edna Morrisedie, and we have a new design team member joining the team! Welcome to Carly Robertson! Carly is super talented and I'm very excited to be working with her as a part of the WMS design team! Carly is jumping right in today to share a sneak peek of July's release, along with a few of my other team mates. Make sure you check them all out:

And now, on to my project! A little something for your sweet tooth...

If you're anything like me, you have a ton of little tins, boxes, etc. in your stash and you never quite get around to using them all. I love these nugget tins! They can be used for a variety of things, including holding my favorite treat...red licorice! I had to trim the ends to make them fit, but it worked just fine. I decided to play up the red color scheme and make a matching belly band using two of the new sets releasing this month; Rescue Remedies and Victorian Fripperie. I wanted to keep the authentic vintage look of these stamps, so I stamped red ink onto cream cardstock and aged it a bit with some distress ink. Check out this label stamp that coordinates with the Labels Four dies from Spellbinders!

Don't you love it?! For the band, I used a strip of cream cardstock and stamped it with a beautiful border stamp included in the Victorian Fripperie set. I scalloped the edge and added coordinating ribbon and buttons. I love the delicate design and gorgeous patterns of this new set, and you will too!

Now make sure you visit the other blogs, above, for more sneak peek goodness! And, again, we're so happy to have Edna with us for the July countdown and a big warm welcome to our newest team member, Carly! See you all again tomorrow for the second round of peeks!
