I added a lot of layers on this card using my Spellbinders dies, including my brand new Labels Thirteen dies. It's an interesting shape; just perfect for some buttons on the sides! For the main image, I colored my tea cup with Copics. I added a few details around the rim with a gold metallic pen. I also stamped the cup for a little more interest. The final touch was to add the tea bag tag with some crochet thread for string. I cut a tiny slit in the cup so that it look like there really was a tea bag down there!
Cup of tea, anyone? Myself, I'm a coffee girl. But whatever your preference, get yourself a cup and stop on in to the new Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge blog! The first sketch was revealed Saturday and you have until this Thursday, June 10 at 11:59 p.m. EST to submit a card or other project. There are prizes to be had, so make sure you check it out!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!
