A Truckful of Birthday Wishes

Happy Sunday! Thanks to all of you for your sweet comments yesterday! If you're looking for my Waltzingmouse Stamps blog waltz project, click here. If you've already seen it, then I've got something new to share today! Here's a little birthday project I made for Purple Onion Designs last month:

How cute is that little truck? It started out simply, but the fun is dressing it up. I added tires using the Circle Set II set, a fender and some transparency for the window. I decided to load up my truck with some adorable presents (the large one is from the Doodle Birthday set). I then added a fun little birthday banner to complete it:

This would be a fun project for a little boy's birthday, or for anyone, really. You can customize your truck any which way and fill it with all sorts of things. I think another one with hearts in the back would be cute for Valentine's Day.

Hope your weekend has been relaxing and restful. Yesterday I installed my new desktop computer and wireless router. It wasn't difficult, but I did spend more time under the desk than I would prefer! It was long overdue and so very worth it; there's nothing better than a wireless Internet connection! Now I can blog from every room in the house!

Stamps: Doodle Birthday, Merriness, Circle Set II (POD)
Paper: Ruby Red (SU!), metallic silver, True Black, Stamper's Select White, Clear Cardstock (PTI)
Ink: True Black (PTI), Black Tuxedo Momento (Tsukinedo)
Other: Copic markers, foam mounting tape, Boys to Men Click Simple Template Collection (PTI)

Cute, cute, cute! How creative. I love how you filled the truck with the bright presents. And adding the banner was the perfect touch.
