Waltzingmouse Stamps Sneak Peek - Day Four

Did you miss me? I didn't have a peek to share yesterday, but I'm back on the fourth and final day of WMS sneak peeks. I have a fun project to share with you that features the new Asian Gardens set, available May 1 from Waltzingmouse Stamps:

I just couldn't resist making a take out box and fortune cookies when I received my Asian Gardens set in the mail. I found the box template online from the QuicKutz store and downloaded it to use with my Sihouette SD. It's so small and cute! I decided to go with some soft, feminine colors and change things up a bit. Rather than add a wire handle, I added a ribbon, button and tag.

And, of course, you can't forget the fortune cookies! I made paper cookies using my circle dies from Spellbinders. I gently folded the circles in half, then pulled them back into a cookies shape and secured them with glue dots. It takes a few practice "cookies" to get it just right, but it was really simple. My fortunes are sentiments included in the set. I love the font, don't you? Just perfect for this set:

Wouldn't this be a fun way to give a gift card or cash? You can personalize the fortunes for any occasion with this set, as it's packed with sentiments and images that are versatile and unique. This set really fills a void in my collection and I can't wait to create more projects with it!

Now, make sure you stop in and visit Claire, Bonnie, Lisa, Anya, Laurie and Julia today, as they are sharing some great stuff, too! And don't forget, tomorrow, May 1, is the big release day. The WMS Design Team has a fun blog waltz in store to celebrate Waltzingmouse Stamps and their first anniversary! Don't miss it!
