That's right, it's time for the April Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz! If you missed the details, you can read them here, on Claire's blog. Each one of the Design Team members who is participating today has hidden one or more little flowers in her photos. And it just so happens that this flower is a tiny sneak peek at something coming in May! So keep your eyes peeled, count them up and post your guess in the WMS forum. You may just be lucky enough to win free stamps!
The theme for this month's blog waltz is Mother's Day. I just love this quote from Roses in Bloom. It makes this card perfect for any mother in my life. And if she's as sentimental as I am, it's sure to make her a bit misty eyed! And I'm diggin' the pink and yellow together; so sunshine-y and fresh! It's hard to tell, but I stamped my yellow background with the plaid stamp in the Off Beat Backgrounds set. It's a subtle look, but in person it helps to make that background not look so plain. This card is really a simple one; I spent most of my time coloring the rose. My coloring skills are (slowly) improving! And I think it's a great relaxation technique, don't you?!
Well, I'm off to
hop waltz around to see what you have made this month in honor of the special woman ( or women) in your life! Don't forget to keep your eyes open for those "wee" little flowers!
