Snowflakes & Swirls

Well...hello! I'm back from a little blogging break over the holiday. And did you all survive Christmas? It sure is a whirlwind, isn't it? I was still in a fog as I went to work today, trying to be productive but really just wanting to get home and take a nap! I affectionately call the feeling I get after Christmas my "Holiday Hangover." We had a lot of fun, but all that fa la la la'ing just wears a girl out! And, of course, we have another holiday fast approaching, followed by my birthday on Saturday. Which is why I really feel exhausted when it's all over. But...I'm trying to get back into some sort of a routine and clean up a little of the aftermath. This week I'm trying to work on some thank you notes:

Nothing makes me happier than Fresh Snow ink on Kraft cardstock! I love all the swirls and snowflakes on this card, and the snowman from Papertrey Ink's Made of Snow set is still one of my favorites. I stamped the sentiment right on top of him and used pastel colors for something a little different. And rather than ribbon, I used Scor-Tape and glitter to make a nice accent.

Another goal of mine this week is to clean up my craft room. It looks like Christmas exploded in there! I am going to chip away at it all week and then do some major re-organizing over the long weekend. I may even get some photos taken to share on my blog. That's been a request from many of you, but it's just never clean enough to do it! Wish me luck!
