A Christmas Thank You

It's never too soon to think about your thank you cards for after the holiday season. I am so glad that this sentiment is included in the Signature Christmas set from Papertrey Ink. As I am working on my Christmas projects and cards, I'm using some of my scraps to make thank you cards. This will make things a lot easier after the holidays.

These cards were quick and simple, a perfect combination for a project in the midst of holiday cram time. I used Pure Poppy and Raspberry Fizz paired separately with Aqua Mist. While I wanted to be simple, I couldn't resist a little embellishment. The tiny buttons in my Holiday Mix vintage button collection were perfect for this:

And I'm so glad I talked myself into getting the Snowfall Additions set - I love the variety of snowflakes included. Not to mention the fact that they coordinate with the Marvy snowflake punches. Which reminds me, I've got to add those to my Christmas list!

Speaking of lists, I have a huge wish list after last night's release party over at Papertrey Ink. What's on your list? Did you make a purchase, or are you waiting for Santa to deliver?!?

And one more random thing. Is anyone else watching So You Think You Can Dance? Wasn't it so good tonight?! Who do you want to win? I'm torn this time around and I can't settle on my favorite. I so love this show!

Stamps: Snowfall Additions, Signature Christmas (PTI)
Paper: Kraft, Raspberry Fizz, Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist (PTI)
Ink: True Black, Fresh Snow (PTI)
Other: foam mounting tape, twine, Aqua Mist vintage button (PTI), classic and scallop circle dies (Spellbinders), corner rounder (Fiskars)

I love these cards and I may have to CASE them. I love SYTYCD also and I want Russell for the win. During auditions he caught my eye and he has never dissapointed. Plus, his parents are absolutely adorable with all their pride and love for him.

If he doesn't win, I won't be too dissapointed though, all the remaining dancers are good.
