Happy Saturday! I am so glad it's the weekend. For some reason this week wore me out! I think I was on the verge of getting sick all week, but managed to fight it off. I got to sleep in this morning and woke up to a fresh pot of coffee, so all is good (thanks to my sweet husband!). Before I get my first cup, I want to share a little Thanksgiving project with you. It's a pumpkin place setting card:

You know, I feel sorry for Thanksgiving. It gets totally shoved aside by Christmas. And I really like Thanksgiving! I can smell my Mom's turkey and dressing right now! Mmmm...anyway, I thought it would be nice to make some little place settings for the big day. Instead of individualizing them with names, I added a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's 2009 Autumn Tags. This has to be one of my favorite font combinations it! And the pumpkin was super easy to make using my oval Nestabilities dies. I stamped each one with the flourish stamp from Fall Elegance. It's such a pretty set, I really need to use it more. I love the leaves and swirls:

A little ribbon for the stem and a tiny piece of cardstock for a tendril finished off this little pumpkin nicely. I just love him.

Okay, so speaking of Papertrey Ink, tonight is the big night...release night! Click here for all the details. If you've never joined in the festivities, you really should stop by the PTI forum tonight. It's a lot of fun. We have a birthday dinner to attend tonight, so I might be very late, but I'll be there! I wouldn't miss it!

Stamps: Polka Dot Basics, Fancy Flourishes, Fall Elegance, 2009 Autumn Tags (PTI)
Dark Chocolate, Melon Berry, Kraft (PTI)
Ink: Vintage Cream, Dark Chocolate, Melon Berry, Vintage Touch Chai & Chamomile (PTI)
Other: classic oval dies (Spellbinders), Ripe Avocado satin luxe ribbon (PTI), foam mounting tape (3M)

These are perfect. I love Thanksgiving time, mainly because of all the rich fall colors. I spent way too much money on the release last night, I just couldn't help myself.
