Well, something terrible has happened. Just awful. I, who said Thanksgiving gets looked over, has...well...looked it over. I've been posting Christmas cards and projects for the last several days and here Thanksgiving is this Thursday! Quick, I need the Indian corn, STAT!

Whew, that's better. Now I feel like it's Thanksgiving again. This little Indian corn stamp makes me so happy! It's one of the newest stamps from Purple Onion Designs and it's just perfect! It's fun to color in the corn with different colors...sorta like a mini crossword puzzle, don'tcha think? And I love the addition of the corrugated cardboard cut out using my new Label Eight dies. I just had to run it through two or three times to cut all the way through. I ran my gold paint pen around the edges of the background to add a little something special. And, finally, buttons make everything better:

I really do love Thanksgiving and this time of year. And the green bean casserole is definitely making it again this year. Although it's on life support. Don't tell my Mom.

Stamps: Thanksgiving Noteblock, Indian Corn, Late 1800's Script Background (Purple Onion Designs)
Paper: Dark Chocolate, Rustic Cream (PTI), corrugated cardboard, rust cardstock
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Vintage Touch Chai & Chamomile (PTI)
Other: gold paint pen, buttons, adhesive pearls, foam mounting tape, Label Eight dies (Spellbinders), corner rounder punch (Fiskars)

I do everything I can to NOT look right past thanksgiving onto Christmas. I think if everyone spends more time recognizing all they have to be thankful for the Christmas season will be even better!

Adorable card! I *JUST* mailed out all my thanksgiving cards today - I am SUCH a slacker!

Beautiful Jennifer! I can totally relate...with all the Christmas cards going on right now, we're not giving the Pilgrims the respect they deserve! LOL

I love the corrugated mat, and the way you've colored the corn...perfection!

Incredible, once again! Love that stamp! It would be great for making Thanksgiving cards in my first grade classroom! You are an inspiration!
