Merry & Bright

ETA: In regards to my 100 followers giveaway: Be the first person to notice I have 100 followers and you will win a prize! The first person to send me an email saying "You have 100" will be the winner! Be sure to include your name and mailing address. What fun!

Do you ever get inspired by your own work? Recently I was watching an episode of Project Runway and the challenge was for the designers to make a companion piece inspired by one of their own previous designs. Which is exactly what I did! I knew after I made this project that I would have to make a matching card because I just loved the color combination and the bright, cheery design:

Isn't that snowman too cute? I used my new stamp set again, Background Basics: Text Style II, to add to the background of the focal image. I stamped it in the same Sweet Blush ink as the cardstock, so it's a very subtle effect. I also like adding foam mounting tape to the scarf to make it look a little more realistic:

I'm really enjoying my Holiday Mix of vintage buttons from Papertrey Ink! So glad I now have the Aqua Mist and Raspberry Fizz buttons to add to my collection, along with all of the other great colors included. They really finish this card off nicely with the little tag.

Well, I'm starting to get into holiday planning mode. I now need to start working on my December Daily album. I bought some new Christmas papers at my LSS the other day and I can visualize the front cover already. My goal is to have it completed by the weekend...wish me luck!P.S. Did you notice that I'm getting very close to having 100 followers on my blog (in the upper right hand corner)?! When I reach 100 I'm going to have a little giveaway!
