Identity Crisis

As I mentioned yesterday, I only got one Christmas gift done this weekend. And then I realized, I don't think I can wait until Christmas to give it away! Because it really should be used now. I mean, who wants to use a holiday themed notebook after Christmas? Am I wrong here?

I finally got a chance to break open my Take Note set from Papertrey Ink. I so loved this set the moment I saw it; I am a total office supply girl! Pens, paper, notebooks...I love them all! I also wanted to use my new Label Eight dies from Spellbinders. Inside the book are ruled index cards. I was able to cut two at a time reliably with my Cuttlebug.

So I started out to make this a holiday planner, but realized that I am probably the only person in my group of friends who may actually use one...lol. So I decided to make a little notebook for any occasion, except that I made it with a definite holiday look and feel.

So there I go again, making something cute without thinking it all the way through. Sometimes I just get so excited to make something, I forget what I'm making it for! Please tell me I'm not the only person who does this...?
P.S. By the look of my poll results so far (upper left hand column), it looks like the green bean casserole is still a favorite! By the way, it somehow has become my job to make this every year for our family Thanksgiving, so I am very interested in what others think!

I think it is super cute and because of the snowman this can be entirely a "winter" project and not just Christmas. Again, I love your style - thanks for sharing.

Yes, I too make things without thinking it all the way through - love the notebook. And me too on the green bean casserole - I somehow got the job in my family.

Totally cute! My problem isn't starting projects without thinking them through . . . it's getting started period.

You are not the only one making something just because its cute. I make cute stuff, with no real function all the time! LOL Love your notebook, its adorable.

So, so cute. You could keep it for yourself, I would. You could consider this notebook as your prototype and whip out a bunch in neutral colors.

Always in the pursuit of cute...LOL! I love just pulling out supplies and seeing where they lead me. Your planner is wonderful! Love the papers, ribbon, holly...well, all of it! Your planner is making me want a Bind-it-All. I have been looking at them for so long, wondering when I would "cave" and just get one more tool for the craft room. Your post just pushed me over the edge. Thanks for enabling!

Oh my! This is WAY too cute to give away! Definitely keep and use it yourself! ( Hey, you can always make more!!) Speaking of enabling...I'm now having to get the Cutlebug and Spellbinders dies! You're bad! ;) Thanks again!!!
